Bertille Daran
I am an environmental economist with a PhD from Institut Polytechnique de Paris (manuscript coming soon, slides), defended in February 2026.My research studies climate change by focusing on interdependencies between international flows, both economic and human flows, and land cover and land use. Within this agenda, my thesis examined climate diplomacy through negotiations, cooperation, and finance.
I combine quantitative spatial models and advanced econometric techniques with complementary methods such as natural language processing and surveys.
I will join University Paris Dauphine-PSL as a postdoctoral research fellow in Fall 2026.
